Q: Where 2 sunbathe nude?

Male, age 50 here living in Southcentral PA. Closest beach is about a 3 hour drive minimum from here (Delaware/Northern MD, South N.J.).

Was wondering if anyone can tell me or recommend a good area to nude sunbathe without being hassled... I'm not a 'card carrying' nudist per se but enjoy the freedom from the restraint of clothes at home (especially during the warmer months) and also luv being outdoors. Thanks.

`Beaches are not the only places to sunbathe. Most nudist resorts have a pool or lawn area for sunbathing. A web search using the terms "nudist Pennsylvania" should tell you whether any are near you.

Also, if you can get hold of a copy of Lee Baxandall's World Guide to Nude Beaches and Resorts, it will list them state by state. It is a bit dated now, though, so you will need to verify the continued existence of any place he lists.

Thirdly, if you are willing/able to do a bit of walking, investigate trails in the mountains. Often, I have found places where hardly anyone ever goes, and if you know how to find your way off-trail, you will almost certainly meet no one. I am surprised how many places I can create my own "nude beach" just by going where most people do not go. National Forests mostly allow off-trail travel, but I can only recommend it for those who know how to find their way. If you get lost, it's not my fault.
